LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Wynn Resorts Ltd. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Wynn earned more than $14.6 million in 2010 from a compensation package that was approved a year earlier.

In a filing Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company revealed that Wynn's compensation package last year increased $6.3 million from 2009.

Wynn, 69, earned $2.95 million in base salary and a bonus of $3.22 million last year. He also received $6.9 million in nonequity compensation and $1.54 million in all other compensation.

In an SEC filing in February, Wynn Resorts announced Wynn's base salary would be increasing to $4 million. His raise was effective Feb. 24.

Wynn also receives the use of a company aircraft valued at $942,641, a company-provided villa, and medical and life insurance. The compensation package does not include stock and option awards until the stocks vest or options are exercised.
