Starscream Limited penalized for illegal offer

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Dutch Gaming Authority imposes a penalty of money on Starscream Limited for offering illegal gambling to Dutch players through the websites Rant Casino, Sugar Casino and AllStarz Casino. With this penalty payment, the Ksa requires Starscream Limited to stop and stop the illegal offer immediately. If the provider does not comply, a penalty of €280,000 per week will be imposed, up to a maximum of €840,000.

On the sites examined, it was possible to create a player account, make deposits and participate in the illegal games of chance offered. At that time, no technical measures had been taken to prevent participation from the Netherlands.

The Netherlands has a regulated gambling market to better protect players. The Ksa is therefore cracking down on illegal offer. With a penalty payment, illegal supply is often quickly stopped. Providers may also be fined for the period in which the illegal offer was available.
