Stanley Leisure Splits from Lobbying

UNITED KINGDOM –As reported by the UK Evening Standard: "Stanley Leisure has split from the rest of the casino industry in its lobbying of the Government over the controversial Gambling Bill.
"It will not be demanding unlimited jackpot slot machines at all its casinos, instead agreeing with the Government that only the proposed Las Vegas-style destination supercasinos should be allowed them on a trial basis.
"Rivals have pressed for access to the new terminals - known as Category A machines - in existing casinos, but Stanley chief executive Bob Wiper said: 'Category As are untried in this country. It is totally right that they should only be tested carefully.'…"
