Spanish court hears unfair competition challenge

SPAIN -- A case has come before the Spanish courts between Grupo Codere and Bwin/Real Madrid soccer team, The Gibraltar Chronicle reported.The civil lawsuit contends unfair competition, the report said.
Codere claims that aggressive advertising and promotions by Bwin/Real Madrid that break Spanish law, The Gibraltar Chronicle said.
Codere run bingo halls, casinos and betting shops in Spain and seven other countries.
