Spade Club awards WSOP seats
LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- SpadeClub, a subscription-based poker community, has awarded two of the four World Series of Poker* main event seats that it is offering this summer. Charles "labotomy" Goodwin and Ken "Handbone" Meyer placed first and second, respectively, in SpadeClub's first-ever World Series $40K Giveaway, which awards two grand prizes of $12,000 main-event prize packages. Both members will represent the SpadeClub community in the 2008 WSOP*. SpadeClub will also host a freeroll tournament with a growing prize pool based on how well the sponsored members do. That freeroll is restricted to Exclusive members. The next two members to represent the SpadeClub community will be determined on June 29 at the second World Series $40K Giveaway.
