Soccer icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic joins Bethard as ambassador

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Bethard Sports today announced a very important step in their ambition to create Europe's leading sports betting brand. Swedish soccer icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to join forces with the Bethard team to help them enable their vision. He will not only be an active ambassador for the brand, but also engage in the ongoing development of the company's offering.

"This move marks the starting signal for us. We have taken a bold decision to start building a next generation sports betting brand, and we are, of course, super excited to welcome Zlatan onboard. Bethard operates out of Malta and is currently licensed in Malta and in the U.K. As part of an aggressive growth plan, the company is actively seeking licenses in a number of European markets and expects to be present through own licenses in most key European markets already by 2020. The partnership with Zlatan starts as of now and will evolve over the coming years.

"I have obviously been intensively courted by betting companies throughout my career, but up until now I have not been presented to anything that has triggered me," said Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
