Snooker champ to return to PokerStars Megastack London

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Seven-time snooker world champion Stephen Hendry is aiming to recreate past success at the tables when he takes to PokerStars Live at The Hippodrome Casino for PokerStars Megastack London, which runs from 20-22 October 2017.

The PokerStars and BetStars ambassador cashed for €2,510 after finishing in 56th place in the PokerStars Festival Dublin Main Event in September, adding his first tournament cash and an Irish flag to his Hendon Mob results.

"I had a fantastic time in Dublin, and it was such a buzz to make the money, as it's the first time I've cashed in a PokerStars tournament," said Hendry. "I'm really looking forward to playing in the PokerStars Megastack London event. Hopefully, I can take it one step further in London and finish higher in the ranks."

The PokerStars Megastack London event has a £170 buy-in with a Main Event prize pool guarantee of £40,000. The popular low buy-in Megastack live poker tournament series offers a space for players to get comfortable at the tables and hone their skills playing with deeper stacks.
