Sky Bet offering plenty of "cold" wagers

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The snood is the latest winter fashion accessory to hit the Premier League, with a host of stars sporting the woollen neck tube on the pitch last weekend.

With the weather set to get even colder this week, Sky Bet Sports are offering odds on there being a brood of snoods on display during this weekend's top flight action.

Manchester City's Carlos Tevez started the trend and David Silva and Mario Balotelli all followed suit at Stoke on Saturday, plumping for the full snood-gloves combo. It's 1/5 that all three wear both a neck warmer and gloves when they host Bolton on Saturday.

Arsenal are also amongst the teams who favour covering up in the cold, with Bacary Sagna and Marouane Chamakh sporting snoods, six players wearing gloves and only two Gunners donning short-sleeved shirts for their trip to Villa Park.

It's 6/4 that no Arsenal player wears a short-sleeved shirt during Saturday's London derby against Fulham at the Emirates and 2/1 that eight or more outfield players wear gloves.

Blackpool's DJ Campbell joined in-form Marouane Chamakh and Carlos Tevez in wearing a snood at the weekend and Sky Bet go 20/1 that the trio are inspired to score whilst wearing one this weekend.
