LONDON, England -- Allegations of accountancy fraud have resulted in the demise of Worldspreads, a UK spread-betting operator, according to the Financial Times.

The alleged amount of missing clients money is €14.4 million, the report said.

Shares in the company have been discontinued, The Financial Times reported.
