Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown returns in April

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Poker tournament action returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida with Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicking off on Thursday, 13 April with the $400 Deep Stack series opener featuring a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. As a main stop for the World Poker Tour, the tournament will culminate with the $3,500 WPT Poker Showdown Championship starting on Friday, 28 April. The championship event boasts a $3 million guarantee. The final six players of the championship event will reconvene on May 25 in Las Vegas for a televised final table.

- $600 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $1 Million Guaranteed, Thursday, 20 April – Monday, 24 April
- $2,200 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $200,000 Guaranteed, Thursday, 27 April – Friday, 28 April
- $25,500 High-Roller NLH (Re-Entry) $1 Million Guaranteed, Monday, 1 May – Tuesday, 2 May
- $5,000 Deep Stack Eight Handed NLH (Re-Entry) $250,000 Guaranteed, Tuesday, 2 May

Last year’s Poker Showdown saw Mark Davis win the WPT Poker Showdown Championship for more than $1 million besting a field of 2,010 entries, making it the second largest $3,500 Main Event in tour history.
