Scotland's independent bookmaker Scotbet bought out by management

SCOTLAND -- Scotbet, which had been up for sale for the past year, has finally been "bought out" by its management, the BBC reported this week.

There are 65 outlets in Scotland and an online site, the report said.

The deal was financed by Clydesdale Bank, the BBC noted.
