Scientific Games wins four-year contract with New Hampshire Lottery

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Scientific Games Corporation today announced that the Company won a new, four-year contract to provide instant games and additional services to the New Hampshire Lottery (the "Lottery"), the first U.S. state lottery and one of the nation's most successful lotteries. A catalyst for the U.S. lottery industry that has grown to 44 state lotteries, the New Hampshire Lottery is currently ranked among the Top 10 lotteries in the world for instant game per capita sales (La Fleur's Almanac).

The New Hampshire Lottery has partnered with Scientific Games since its first instant game launch in 1975, and for the last 10 years the Company has served as the Lottery's sole instant game provider. The new four-year contract begins 1 July 2017 and may be extended for two additional years. Scientific Games also provides licensed properties to the Lottery, including the fan favorite THE WIZARD OF OZ, and interactive games such as SLINGO Lottery Challenge.

In New Hampshire, total instant game sales have increased 6.4% in the last five years (FY 2011-2016), with instant game per capita sales increasing 6.2% compared to 5.7% for the industry. Creative options like Scientific Games' Scratch My Back, offering play on both sides of the ticket, have recently been a big hit with players in the state.
