Scientific Games Wins Colorado Lottery Contract

24 Jan 2006

NEW YORK – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Scientific Games Corporation (Nasdaq: SGMS) has been awarded the instant ticket contract for the Colorado Lottery, the company announced today. The deal, which includes the supply of instant ticket games and related services, is valued at $5.6 million over an initial term of two years. The contract takes effect in January of 2006 and runs through the end of November 2007, with three one-year options to renew.

"Colorado is one of the states where Scientific Games has both the instant and online contracts, so this new contract is particularly important to us," said Scientific Games Chairman and CEO Lorne Weil. "And given the world-renowned natural beauty of the state, we're especially pleased to continue to play a role in the effort to ensure that Colorado will always be Colorado by providing the games that enable the Lottery to fund state and local parks."

Revenues from the Colorado Lottery are primarily dedicated to the development of parks and environmental projects in the state through the lottery-funded Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund and the Conservation Trust Fund, and revenues to the Colorado Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation.
