Scientific Games Signs Puerto Rican Contract

NEW YORK – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Scientific Games Corporation (Nasdaq: SGMS) announced that it has signed the previously announced online lottery contract with Loteria Electronica de Puerto Rico. The contract is valued at $66.7 million and is for a term of seven years.

The online lottery contract includes the installation of 2000 terminals and a new central system with satellite and radio communication technology. The new system is scheduled to launch on March 15, 2005.

"Puerto Rico is an extremely important new market for Scientific Games' online product," said Scientific Games Chairman and CEO Lorne Weil. "We are confident that Loteria Electronica will benefit from the introduction of our newest instant online games, as well as our dedication to reliable service.
