Schulman wins $270,000 at US Poker Open
21 Feb 2019
Schulman entered the day in second place with four remaining but managed to overtake Adams and eventually defeat him. Adams took home $150,000 for his second-place finish.
"It feels damn good," Nick Schulman said with a big smile after taking the event down.
"There's nothing like winning a tournament, regardless of the field size. It feels great and getting a clear first is exciting."
"I'm wound up for the $50k and $100k, those events speak for themselves. We'll see how this $50k goes and then we'll see if I'll play the $100k. You gotta be pumped up to play with these wizards," Schulman said, looking ahead at what's still to come at the U.S. Poker Open.
The $50,000 No Limit Hold’em event is now underway with 41 total entries and the $100,000 Main Event kicks off tomorrow at 2:00 pm local time.
