Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort to offer lottery scratch tickets starting next week

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, will begin selling lottery scratch tickets on 25 November at 5 a.m. at the gift shop located near the main entrance. Powerball and Mega Millions tickets will be available beginning early 2020.

The first $80 million of annual net lottery proceeds statewide will benefit infrastructure needs. After a ten-year period, lottery proceed collections up to $80 million will go into the state’s general fund. Any net proceeds over $80 million will be sent to the Education Enhancement Fund, which helps fund pre-k and the classroom supply fund.
