12 Oct 2011
LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- A unique new style of high street betting is launched today with the arrival of the Samvo Betting Café in both Camden and Hammersmith. Designed to attract a younger, more affluent customer, the Samvo Betting Café will become a destination for players looking for a relaxed, stylish environment that’s a world away from the current high street offerings. At the launch, Samvo announced that as part of its social responsibility programme, it will be donating 5% of its profits from the Betting Cafés to selected UK charities, as well as giving its customers an easy way to donate a percentage of their winnings. This radical step is part of a strategy to make gaming socially responsible by giving freedom and choice back to local communities.
Samvo Bet Broker positions itself as a full service betting brand, managed and ran by a dynamic team of young high-fliers. With an average age of 28 and with alumni from leading schools and universities, Samvo is reinventing betting both online and on the high street by offering outstanding prices, service and maximum limits on all markets. Samvo is able to make this kind of low-margin, high-value offer due to its world class proprietary software and systems, and also promises to never turn away a winning customer.
“Traditional betting outlets can be difficult places for casual and virgin gamblers to enter. We’ve tried to create an environment that feels as comfortable to a first time caller as to an experienced player. The Samvo Betting Cafés are great places to spend time, enjoy watching sports and place a bet on a wide variety of events. We’re hoping to grow the market by attracting new players as well as, obviously, enticing players away from our competitors,” commented Samvo’s Senior Marketing Manager, David Miller. He added, “Being a boutique chain will allow us to shape the feedback of our customers to create a more personalised experience”.
Samvo is a global betting organisation founded in 2004 holding licenses from the Alderney Gaming Commission, the United Kingdom Gaming Commission and the Curacao Gaming Commission. The organisation is headed by Frank Chan, a highly respected ex-investment banker educated in the UK and France.
The launch today was supported by Hayley Turner, the UK’s leading female jockey. Turner, who has ridden 83 winners so far this season, has been enjoying the most successful spell of her career, riding her first two Group One winners on Dream Ahead in the July Cup and Margot Did at York's Ebor Festival.
John McCririck also supported the launch today. His no-nonsense, opinionated approach to tipping has made him a popular figure in the world of racing whilst his attitudes to life and fashion have also brought him notoriety away from the racecourse.
