RUSSIA -- The Russian government could legalize online poker for economic reasons, The Moscow Times reported.

The government has asked the Finance, Economic Development and Justice Ministries to research the prospects, the report said.

Legalizing online poker could bring $146 million to federal coffers, The Moscow Times report said.
