Rush Street Gaming names new COO

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rush Street Gaming announced today that industry veteran Ron Baumann has been named Chief Operating Officer. Baumann most recently served as Regional President for Caesars Entertainment, simultaneously overseeing operations at Harrah's Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack and at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore.

Previously, Baumann was General Manager of Harrah's Philadelphia, and prior to that, he was Assistant General Manager at several Atlantic City properties, including Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Bally's - Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City, with responsibilities for all gaming and hospitality operations.

Baumann has held other senior positions in food and beverage, gaming and hotel operations for several leading gaming companies.

Baumann is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1984, and Villanova University, where he earned his MBA in 2005.

Baumann will be based out of Rush Street Gaming's headquarters in Chicago, and his appointment is effective immediately.
