Robert Mathewson Appointed to IGT Board

RENO, Nevada – (Press Release) -- Robert A. Mathewson has been appointed to the Board of Directors of International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT).

Mathewson is president of RGC, Inc., a privately owned real estate investment company investing primarily in hotels and other commercial real estate. He is the son of Chuck Mathewson, Chairman Emeritus of International Game Technology.

He served as vice president of business development for Televoke Inc., an Internet application service provider focusing on web, wireless and telephone integration, from December 1999 to August 2000. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of FelCor Lodging Trust since May 2002. He previously worked as an international manager for IGT in 1989.

Mathewson received a bachelor's degree in Economics and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and his Juris Doctorate from the Hastings School of Law.
