Revere and Mohegan Sun reach host agreement

EAST BOSTON, Massachusetts -- A deal was reached December 23, 2013 with Mohegan Sun and Revere establishing a host community agreement, the Daily Racing Forum reported.This agreement will see Revere receive up to $30 million per year and means better prospects that live racing and breeding may continue, the report said.
The host agreement along with Mohegan Sun winning the licence to partner with Suffolk Downs are crucial to the future of the last remaining Thoroughbred amenity in New England, the Daily Racing Forum report said.
