Rebecca's Recommendations - March 16, 2006
Alright, as promised, I have a recommendation for some March Madness online gaming fun. I have been in close touch with my Nine.com contact and he has put together an excellent March Madness promotion that could make you a millionaire (no, sorry, not a billionaire like Calvin) or could win you a four day trip to Costa Rica amongst other fun prizes. All you have to do is sign up for the contest, deposit $50 before April 1st, choose as many "against the spread" (ATS) picks as possible, and of course, sit back and watch some college basketball. You can still come out a winner even if you miss a few picks because there are a total of 25 guaranteed prizes for 25 ATS saavy players. If you'd rather pass when it comes to sports betting, you can certainly have some fun at Nine Casino and Nine Poker instead. Perfect! Something for everyone.
Speaking of everyone, here is a promotion that every single one of you cannot help but enjoy. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Casino Classic, part of the Casino Rewards family, introduced a "Your First Hour is on the House" promotion that their players just loved. Due to its popularity, the Casino Rewards folks decided to offer the same type of promotion at Captain Cooks Casino. To refresh your memory, if you open up an account with Captain Cooks Casino and sign up for the promotion, $500 will automatically appear in your account and you can use this money to play at the casino for your first hour. This is an amazing opportunity for players especially consdiering that you can keep your winnings! If you have already taken advantage of the Casino Classic promotion, as long as you have deposited at Casino Classic or any other of the Casino Rewards casinos such as Golden Tiger and Blackjack Ballroom Casino, you can participate in the Captain Cooks "First Hour Free" as well.
Before I leave you to participate in some St. Patty's Day festivities, if you're interested, I would like to encourage you to send your information to MTV so you can be chosen for their "True Life" series entitled, "I'm Moving to Vegas". If you dream of moving to Vegas to become something juicy and exiting such as a dealer, a bartender, a Cirque Du Soleil performer, or a sexy male stripper, and if you appear to be between the ages of 18 and 28 (I know, always a catch), here is your opportunity! Please email your name, address, phone, and recent picture to MovingToVegas before April 1st. MTV doesn't care if you're single, dating, or married- all they ask is that you look fairly young and that you're ready to make the move to Sin City within the next month. VIVA LAS VEGAS!
In honor of St. Patrick's Day and the Irish, I'm going to leave you with this:
McCarthy walked into a bar and ordered martini after martini, each time removing the olives and placing them in a jar. When the jar was filled with olives and all the drinks consumed, he started to leave.
"Excuse me," said a customer, who was puzzled over what McCarthy had done.
"What was that all about?"
"Nothing," he replied, "my wife just sent me out for a jar of olives."
Now that's my kind of guy.
