UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the New Media Age: "Rank Interactive is hoping to get around the ban on bookmakers sponsoring sports events by using its HardRockCasino.com brand to back horse racing on the AtTheRaces TV channel.
"The online casino is to sponsor the US horse racing coverage on AtTheRaces, available on Sky, NTL and Telewest, every day from this week until the end of March next year.
"…Rank is hoping that consumers will find their way from there to its sports betting site, Blue Square.
"…The sponsorship deal is the latest element in Rank's ongoing efforts to push its customers across its various gaming and gambling sites…"
