Quinto goes on promotional tour

MIDDLETOWN, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Lottery is celebrating the launch of its newest game, Quinto, with a statewide promotional tour at 19 Lottery retail locations.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2, and continuing through Sept. 26, the "Quinto Quintet" street team will arrive at each retail location in an RV to distribute free instant tickets to the first 200 adults, age 18 and older, who visit each event.

The "Quinto Quintet," comprised of five giant finger mascots, will perform a game demonstration for event attendees and pose for photographs. Fans will be able to download their photos from the PA Lottery Web site at Palottery.com following each event. Players will also have an opportunity to try the new game using an online demonstration.

The Lottery's Quito promotional RV tour will make stops from noon until 2 p.m. at 19 retail locations on the following dates:

-- Sept. 3: Pennsylvania News, Sam's Cold Take Out, 7-Eleven, 1 Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, Bucks County

-- Sept. 5: King of Prussia Exxon, 620 W. Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, Chester County

-- Sept. 8: Penn Cigarette and Cigar, 531 Penn St., Reading, Berks County

Quinto tickets go on sale Aug. 26. The cost is $1 per ticket and the game offers prizes ranging from $50 to $50,000. Quinto is a five-digit numbers game with two drawings seven days a week, at midday and evening.

Quinto players pick five numbers from 0 to 9 to make a five-digit number. The game offers 13 different ways to play and win. Numbers can be played boxed, straight, front pair, back pair, and in other combinations, much like the Lottery's Daily Number and BIG 4 games.
