Project strikes deal with NetEnt

18 Jul 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Project, the London-based, independent games creator, has agreed a licensing deal with NetEnt, one of the world pioneers of award winning digital gaming entertainment. The first game to be licensed by Project is Gonzo's Quest, NetEnt's first platinum video slot game which is based on the 16th century, Spanish conquistador, Gonzalo Pizzaro. Designed to entertain both new and seasoned players alike, the game introduces NetEnt's Avalanche feature, which replaces the traditional reel spin and provides players with extended game play.

Explaining the benefits of the agreement, Project Managing Director, Tony Boulton, said: "NetEnt is one of the most successful brands in the digital space and has a portfolio of games which boast high levels of awareness and recall. Whilst the movement of players is most commonly seen as being from bricks and mortar gaming to online, we want to approach this licensing agreement as an opportunity to attract and engage with NetEnt's loyal community of desktop and mobile players but in a bricks and mortar environment."

He added: "We recognize the imperative of keeping our product offering relevant to a generation of players which is both agile and mobile and NetEnt, which has a catalogue of top performing and recognizable content, is an ideal partner."

Gonzo's Quest will be available to subscribers to Project's Mi Games initiative which delivers a new game every eight weeks.
