PokerStars to give out Platinum Pass via Twitter
31 Jan 2018
Truth or Bluff Twitter series videos will be posted every Tuesday on PokerStars Twitter channels with the video action pausing partway through. At that point, viewers will decide whether the Team PokerStars Pro is bluffing or telling the truth and submit their answers by replying to the video tweet with "Truth" or "Bluff" and using the hashtag #PlatinumPass and their Stars ID.
The first video, which has received more than 25,000 views so far, was posted on PokerStars Twitter channels yesterday. Anyone who replies to the tweet will also receive free entry into a special "PSPC Twitter Giveaway Freeroll" and receive a 2,000 starting stack. Those who answer two, three or four questions correctly across the four-week competition will add ammunition to their starting stack, reaching 5,000/10,000/20,000, respectively. The "PSPC Twitter Giveaway Freeroll" takes place on 4 March at 7 p.m. and will give away one Platinum Pass, plus around $5,000 in Sunday tournament tickets.
There is also a Facebook version of the competition in which entrants will have the chance to win a PSPC hat signed by Daniel Negreanu, as well as other merchandise.
So far, 23 Platinum Passes to the PSPC have been awarded via a variety of online and live routes. The next opportunities players will have to win a Platinum Pass will be via three freerolls on 3 February. Three Passes in total will be awarded across the free PSPC Monthly All-in Shoot Out Selected Tourneys Final (play a daily PSPC tournament to enter), the PSPC Monthly Sunday Cashers Final (make the money in a PSPC Sunday tournament to enter) and the PSPC Live Events Qualifier Final (play any direct live qualifier to enter).
Those who want a part of the action can go to PokerStars Twitter and Facebook to enter the competition.
