PokerStars Pros see successful autumn series
13 Oct 2017
This result follows on Team Pro successes in the record-breaking World Championship of Online Poker series, which included Igor Kurganov and Andre Akkari's Main Event cashes for $32,798 and $11,570 respectively as well as a fourth place finish for Akkari in the WCOOP-36-H: $1,050 FL Badugi for $7,125 event.
With an overall guarantee of $1.2 million, NJCOOP is New Jersey's largest and richest online poker series, with several routes in to the action. Special Edition Spin & Gos are awarding Main Event seats from just $4, and Second Chance Freerolls are running daily, awarding at least $1,500 in NJCOOP tickets for anyone who busts out of an NJCOOP event before reaching the money stages.
Running until Sunday, 16 October, players have plenty of time to join the likes of Moneymaker and also PokerStars Mind Sports Ambassador Jen Shahade in the $500 NJCOOP-41 Main Event, $200,000 guaranteed, at 17:00 ET. Last year, the first NJCOOP Main Event winner, Jesse "ROU$EY" Elliot took home $38,380, following on from another 2016 NJCOOP series win over none other than our very own Chris Moneymaker.
Players can register for NJCOOP at the PokerStars website.
