PokerStars opens live poker room at City of Dreams Manila

ONCHAN, Isle of Man -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerStars has launched a branded, live poker room at City of Dreams Manila, the new integrated casino resort that is poised to become a premier leisure and entertainment destination in the Philippines.

PokerStars LIVE Manila follows Macau to become the second PokerStars live poker room operating in Asia. It made its debut on December 14 with a sneak preview and is now officially open and offering a range of tournaments and cash games.

“Our relationship with City of Dreams has been nothing short of amazing in our poker room in Macau. I have the utmost confidence that our continued collaboration in Manila will take poker in the Philippines to new heights,” said Danny McDonagh, PokerStars’ Director of Live Operations for Asia-Pacific.

Located on Level 2 of the casino floor, PokerStars LIVE Manila offers cash games and tournaments at 14 permanent tables, which will also be expandable for special events such as the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Manila Poker Festival.

Tournaments are now running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a variety of special events planned for 2015.
