PokerStars offers live poker trips to India

PokerStars Qualifers will also be given a special rate at the 5-star Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. The luxurious 9,000-square-foot complex sits amid Goa's famous Miramar Beach.
"Poker is on the rise in India and PokerStars is honored to support this fantastic event in Goa," said Danny McDonagh, PokerStars Director of Live Operations for Asia-Pacific. "The Indian poker community is very hospitable and Phil Sanders and Craig Wildman run a great operation on the Casino Royale."
Already confirmed for the three-day main event is Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang, who will also play the role of PokerStars Ambassador for the tournament.
"This will be my second trip to Goa and I am looking forward to renewing the friendships I made on my first trip last year," said Huang. The 2010 Asia Player of the Year added, "The poker action is also fast and furious and players there are known to play any two cards so expect the tournaments to be action filled!"
