PokerStars High Roller Series returns bigger than ever

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The PokerStars High Rollers Series returns bigger than ever on from 18-26 March, with $10 million guaranteed across 27 events.

As detailed on the PokerStars Blog, the series will host a mixture of Hold'em and Omaha events, and the minimum buy-in has been dropped from $1,050 to $530. A range of buy-ins all the way up to $10,300 will mean even more players can be part of the High Rollers experience.

Last year, the series hosted 22 events which surpassed most of their guarantees. Many players benefited, including Main Event winner "Sanderssi" from Finland, who took home $294,658.23 after beating a player pool of 1,134 entrants (833 entries and 302 re-entries). This year, the Main Event will again feature a $2 million guarantee, plus two other tournaments in the series are guaranteeing $1 million or more:

• 20 March at noon - $10,300 High Rollers No. 7 event with $1 million guaranteed.
• 22 March at noon - $10,300 High Rollers No. 13 event with $1 million guaranteed.
• 25 March at 1 p.m. - $2,100 Main Event No. 22 event with $2 million guaranteed.

Satellites will be running at PokerStars throughout the week, as well as special High Rollers Spin & Go satellites, which are awarding seats to the $2 million Main Event for just $25. Spin & Go players can also win tickets to a number of satellites running up to the series, as well as cash prizes.
