PokerStars Common Cents series

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Small stakes equal big money in the Common Cents series which kicks off this Sunday 24 June at 14:00 ET. Players’ bankrolls can be significantly boosted with tournaments costing less than a dollar. The first event boasts a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, for just a $0.01 buy-in, and promises a first-place prize of $5,000.

The last time PokerStars held a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool for a $0.01 buy-in a Guinness World Record was set for the largest ever online poker tournament.

There’s even more value on offer as each entrant in a Common Cents event will qualify for an All-in Shootout, taking place on 2 July at 13:47 ET, in which one player will win a Platinum Pass worth $30,000 to the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC).

Common Cents schedule highlights include the Main Event on 1 July at 14:00 ET, which boasts a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool for a $0.99 buy-in. No-Limit Hold’em tournaments will be held each day at 14:00 ET and turbos or hyper-turbos will be held at 16:00 ET. A variety of events will also start at 11:00 ET.
