PokerStars Bounty Builder Series is back for 2020

(PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerStars returns with its popular Bounty Builder Series from 2-16 February.

Last year’s Halloween themed Bounty Builder Series awarded a massive $36 million in prizes, surpassing its guaranteed prize pool by more than $11 million. Player ‘bananero17’ topped the table for the player with the most Knockouts (KOs), gaining an impressive 392 KOs and earning $12,500 in the process, but the question is, can anyone beat that record?

The upcoming series also has a $25 million guarantee spread across 180 Progressive Knockout events, with the $530 buy-in Main Event on February 16 guaranteeing a huge $2.5 million, an increase over October’s $2 million.

With a bounty on everyone taking part, each player can win cash every time they knock an opponent out. But there’s a twist. The victorious player doesn’t get to keep all the bounty, a portion (usually 50%) is added to their own bounty, meaning they progressively become a bigger target. With guaranteed prize pools and bounties in abundance, this series is perfect for players who love action-packed, competitive tournaments with added value and thrills.

Buy-ins range from $1.10 to $5,200, giving players of all levels the chance to become a Bounty Builder champion. Players can also win entry to the series via satellites from less than $1, and $4 Spin & Go’s.
