Poker Player Tweets of the Week: Can't get enough poker
The series has generated major headlines so far. Darko Stojanovic beat Dan O'Brien to win the €3,250 mixed max pot-limit Omaha event. Jeremy Ausmus, a 2012 November Niner, took down his first bracelet in the €1,650 pot-limit Omaha event and Phil Hellmuth picked up his 100th WSOP cash.
The action is keeping the pros busy on the felt, but they've still found time to keep us apprised of the meaningless tidbits of their lives through Twitter.

Judging by his recent tweets, it looks like Matthew Affleck decided to forgo (or maybe delay) a trip to France and instead went to Arizona to watch his beloved Seattle Seahawks romp over the Cardinals on Thursday night, and then check out the University of Washington vs. Arizona State game on Saturday.
Seattle sports fans have a lot to be thankful for right now., The Seahawks are an NFL powerhouse and the Huskies are ranked 20th in the AP poll with a bright future ahead. I'm happy for Seattle fans -- just five years ago, they had to suffer through the relocation of their beloved SuperSonics to Oklahoma City, while the rest of the teams in the city were all massive disappointments. Now, Seattle has a first-rate pro football team and an entertaining college team.
Good for Affleck and his comrades. They deserve it.
Thursday, Oct. 17: Phil "@philivey" Ivey
Phil Ivey apparently can't get enough poker.
It appears that while playing in a WSOP Europe event, Ivey also took it upon himself to four-table on his Ivey Poker app on his laptop. And he's not even playing for real money -- Ivey Poker is a play chip site where people purchase fake chips just so they can play against Ivey on the virtual felt.
Aside from the fact that you'd have to be completely insane to use your own hard-earned money to purchase online poker play chips, I'm surprised that Ivey thinks this is worth his time. This is a guy who makes prop bets in the six and sometimes seven-figure range. Does he really think he can parlay his brand into enough money to justify playing endless hours of free-money online poker?
Maybe. Or maybe he really does enjoy playing poker that much.

As Kanye West once opined, "It's something that you need to have, 'cause when she leaves yo ass she gonna leave with half."
But seriously, I don't "believe" in prenuptial agreements any more than I believe in any other sort of contract. For some couples, it's a good idea to sign a business agreement prior to getting married. For others, it's not necessary.
As far as what I personally believe I need? Well, I'm getting married in three weeks. I won't comment further.

Despite the fact that I think Breaking Bad is the greatest television show of all time, I haven't been able to get too jazzed up over the prospect of the Better Call Saul spinoff. The show will be a prequel to Breaking Bad featuring Saul Goodman, the comedic, two-bit criminal lawyer played by Bob Odenkirk.
Don't get me wrong -- I love Saul's character. I'm just not sure it can survive as a series on its own. The only thing that keeps me optimistic is the fact that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will be heavily involved as a producer and director on Saul. Gilligan has done nothing other than earn my utmost respect as a show runner.

Wow, shots fired!
I'm not sure if Lex Veldhuis and Phil Hellmuth are friends, so I can't say if this is a playful jab at a buddy or real criticism of Hellmuth's analysis. I'm leaning towards the latter, because it seems that most cash game pros do not think very highly of Hellmuth's game, and view his antics on TV as childish and embarrassing.
Then again, anyone who has ever spent time with Hellmuth has nothing but nice things to say about the guy. It seems that, despite his public persona as the "poker brat," Hellmuth is genuinely a great guy. And I can believe that.
I'm in the camp that Hellmuth is one of the most overrated poker players in the history of the game. But it's become almost trite at this point to keep taking jabs at him.
