LITHUANIA -- Poker is now an official sport in Lithuania, according to The Lithuania Tribune.

As of March 20, 2010 The Lithuanian Sports Poker Federation is an official sports federation thus making poker an official sport, The Lithuania Tribune said.

In a press release The Lithuanian Sports Poker Federation described it as "an important move".
