'Poker Night in America' heading to Thunder Valley Casino Resort

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort is proud to announce that it will be hosting "Poker Night in America" on property in January 2016.

"Poker Night" is filming its high-stakes cash game action Jan. 29-31, along with the tournament series Main Event final table on Feb. 1, which will be aired on CBS Sports Network.

"We are thrilled to bring 'Poker Night in America' to Northern California," said Ben Erwin, director of poker operations at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. "This gives our players the exclusive opportunity to compete under the lights, in the Main Event and in their high stakes cash game with some of the most well-known poker personalities, including both Phil Hellmuth and Maria Ho, who are expected to be in attendance."

The tournament series kicks off Jan. 21 with open events for all players, culminating in a featured $1,650 buy-in Main Event and the televised final table.
