Poker Masters Online Pot Limit Omaha Series on partypoker

15 Jun 2020

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Poker Central today announced that their Poker Masters Online Pot Limit Omaha Series will be held on partypoker’s platform beginning on 21 June and will be played through 29 June. This comes on the heels of the general Poker Masters Online tournament, which was also held on partypoker, where the guaranteed prize pool of $16.5 million grew to be 35.4 million.

Poker Masters Online saw an incredible turnout with over 124 unique competitors recording at least one result throughout the series. The final tables in the Poker Masters Online series were live-streamed on PokerGO’s Facebook page and remain to be available on-demand.

The Poker Masters Online PLO Series will stream all final tables on PokerGO, PokerGO’s Facebook page, and the partypokerTV Twitch channel. Commentary provided by Jeff Platt and Joey Ingram.

The Pot Limit Omaha series will have a total of 29 different events, all of which will be two-day events, with buy-ins ranging from $500 – $50,000. The best performer in the overall series will win the PMO Pot Limit Omaha Championship, and will be awarded the coveted Purple Jacket and a $50,000 Championship event seat to add to the cash they have already won.

The final two days of the series will see players compete to become the first PMO Pot Limit Omaha Series Main Event champion, with a $1.5m prize pool guaranteed. A further $500,000 will be paid out in the Mini Main Event.

“Partnering with partypoker for our recent online tournaments like Poker Masters Online and the Super High Roller Bowl has proven to be a great success,” said J.R. McCabe, Chief Business Officer of Poker Central. “It’s been a privilege to provide a destination for the poker community to gather online, and we’re looking forward to both virtual and in-person events in the future.”

partypoker LIVE President, John Duthie, said: “This is such a great opportunity to watch the world’s best PLO players fight it out on the virtual felt. The exceptional PokerGo production and commentary team will be on hand to deliver their usual excellent streams. This is not to be missed.”
