Poker Academy's "Texas Hold 'Em Poker Software" Selected as Part of Student Materials for WPT Boot Camps
Minneapolis, Minnesota -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Poker Academy, a leading poker software developer, today announced that the WPT Boot Camp has chosen Poker Academy's Texas Hold 'Em software as part of its course materials for the two-day, hands-on seminar series held at hotels and casinos across the country.
Launched in January 2005, the WPT Boot Camp features an integrated curriculum that includes live lectures, archived footage and actual game play. Students are taught all aspects of competitive Texas Hold 'Em poker, such as learning the "tells," reads and strategies integral to improving their game. They will each receive a copy of Poker Academy's Texas Hold 'Em software as part of their WPT Boot Camp "homework" package.
"We are pleased to be a part of this educational seminar series," said Kurt Lange, president of Poker Academy. "Like the founders of the WPT Boot Camp, we here at Poker Academy are passionate about the game of poker, especially Texas Hold'em. Our mission is to help players learn to win at any level. We feel our software is a great complement to this endeavor. The artificial intelligence in our software is designed to think like humans, to adapt and improve as the player improves. That's why our training tool will always be fun and challenging to play, and serve as an asset in learning to compete in real-world casinos, tournaments and online poker rooms."
WPT Boot Camp has retained several notable and dynamic players and poker insiders as trainers, including WPT host Mike Sexton and WPT tournament champions Clonie Gowen, Ron Rose and Scott Fischman.
"These individuals have been hand-picked and are regarded as some of the most talented, knowledgeable and skilled poker experts," said Ron Rubens, president of WPT Boot Camp. "Our students will take what they learn in the classroom and then go home and practice using the Poker Academy's Texas Hold 'Em software. We think Poker Academy will help turn their academic knowledge into practical experience."
