Shimon Akad, COO of Playtech, said, "We're delighted to be able to partner with the Gibraltar chapter of Girls in Tech. This is a first initiative of its kind here. We have very strong ties to Gibraltar and its business community and are great believers in diversity and inclusion. We strongly believe that a diverse workplace creates a highly engaging environment and a successful business.
"With more than 5,000 employees in 17 global locations, we believe that diversity and inclusion makes us who we are and plays a huge part in helping us continue to grow as a successful, socially responsible, global organization. We are very excited to partner with Girls in Tech to spread this message across Gibraltar and the wider gaming industry."
Girls in Tech Gibraltar has a series of events planned for the rest of 2017. In order to ensure that the events roadmap is successfully delivered to its full potential, the Gibraltar chapter is actively seeking sponsorship and collaboration with further strategic partners.
