Playing.io sponsors charity football match

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Brazilian iGaming platform sponsored the AEK All Star Charity Football Match in Dagenham last night.

Playing.io is a blockchain iGaming website which recently launched in Brazil. With Playing.io converting every ticket purchased into 1kg of food to be donated to the Tottenham Food Bank, the food secured will be sure to go a long way within the local community.

Luva de Pedreiro is a Brazilian football influencer with more than 20M fans on Instagram. It was a lively event, with Brazilian fans coming from far and wide to see some of their favourite stars including Richarlison and Luva de Pedreiro.

Professional footballers in attendance included: Emerson Royal (Tottenham Hotspur); Richarlison (Tottenham Hotspur); Edu Gaspar (Arsenal Sporting Director); Luigi Gaspar (Watford); Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa); Fernandinho (Sheffield United); Dennis (Nottingham Forest). On the celebrity side: Negrete, Big G, Felipe Araujo & Luva de Pedreiro were also playing. It was a tight match with Emerson Royal's team still putting 5 goals on the board, but in the end influencer stars Luva de Pedreiro and Negrete came out on top, with Pedreiro's team snagging an 8-5 victory.

Speaking at the event, Richard Hogg - CEO of playing.io - said he was "thrilled to see fans and celebrities alike come together for such an important cause", and said playing.io would continue to look at how it can help service local communities.
