Place bets on the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure winner at BetStars

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Seven PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure (PCA) qualifiers, who won a Main Event package for stakes of between $1 and $55, are featured in an exclusive BetStars betting market offering 6/1 odds on one of them winning the $10,300 Main Event.

The seven qualifiers won their packages worth over $15,000 online at PokerStars and will be heading to the Bahamas in January to play against some of the world's best poker players in the Main Event. Nikkkkkk475, Lemurian11, Oribubble, zrGrizz, GizMo_1789, LadyAnea and Voget91 are priced together at 6/1 for one of them to beat the field and win the Main Event.

Jack Ivermee, from the U.K., known online as zrGrizz, has never won a package before and won his package via a $55 satellite.

"I didn't know about BetStars and being able to bet on qualifiers before this," he said. "I think this is a great feature that allows friends and family to share in the excitement. Loads of my friends are interested in putting a few quid on me and seeing if I can make them some money."

Jack continued, "It felt great winning the package, I never thought I would actually win. As the tournament went on and I saw myself getting closer and closer it started to dawn on me how close I was to winning and what a chance I had. As soon as the tournament finished and I had made the money, I instantly went to check my e-mails for confirmation just to be 100%. The weather was cold and it was raining at the time and I just thought to myself I'm going be in the Bahamas in the sunshine in a few weeks. I couldn't stop smiling."

The iconic PCA takes place 6-14 January at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.
