Pennsylvania Supplier for IGT Named

3 Aug 2006

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- IGT (NYSE: IGT) announced today that Mike Robinson and his firm, PAP Security Printing, Inc. of Lancaster, PA., have been granted exclusive rights to market IGT gaming machines in that state. Pennsylvania's new gaming law requires that gaming machine manufacturers must use a licensed supplier to distribute their products and services.

IGT, which has already been licensed as a gaming machine manufacturer in Pennsylvania, had been waiting for the Gaming Control Board to decide how many suppliers each manufacturer would be required to have, and to also formally license the supplier applicants before making its final selection.

According to Ron Rivera, Senior Vice President, IGT North American Sales, "Pennsylvania's new gaming law is very clear in its intent to create new business opportunities for Pennsylvania-based businesses in general and minority business interests in particular."

PAP was established in 1988 and in addition to being MBE certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the company is 100% minority owned.

In announcing IGT's decision, Rivera said, "Our selection of PAP was determined strictly on business considerations which we feel are the most consistent with the intent of the new gaming law and certainly most consistent with what we believe is expected of IGT by gaming regulators, public policy makers, the public and our shareholders."
