PENNSYLVANIA -- As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "MTR Gaming Group and the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority have joined the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association, bringing the group's number of company members from three to five.

"MTR Gaming, owner of Mountaineer Race Track in West Virginia, is currently building a Thoroughbred racetrack and casino near Erie, Pennsylvania.

"Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority recently purchased Pocono Downs harness track near Wilkes-Barre from Penn National Gaming Inc..."
