Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approves $7,500 fine

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today approved a consent agreement between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and a casino license holder resulting in a $7,500 fine.

The consent agreements approved today was with Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, LP, operator of Rivers Casino Philadelphia for a violation of approved internal controls. In this case, a member of the gaming floor personnel at the casino duplicated surveillance footage onto his cell phone in an attempt to qualm a patron dispute but did so without permission of the Surveillance Room Shift Manager in violation of internal controls.

The next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, 15 September 2021. The Board will announce prior to that date whether the meeting will be held online or in the PGCB’s Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg.
