LEBANON, Pennsylvania -- As reported by the Patriot News: "With attendance at its bingo games down 35 percent to 40 percent since the opening of the Hollywood Casino, the Hebron Fire Company won approval Tuesday night for an advance on its allocation from South Lebanon Twp. to help it deal with a cash flow problem.
"The supervisors will give Hebron about $38,000, which is the remaining half of its grant for this year and an advance payment for its 2009 allocation.
"The casinos are driving bingo down,' said Dennis Trainor, vice president of Hebron Fire Company, who said bingo earnings are down $30,000 for the year..."
