Pennsylvania Awards Another Lifetime Jackpot

MIDDLETOWN, Pennsylvania – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Wednesday night's drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery's groundbreaking new lotto game, LUCKY FOR LIFE, has produced another jackpot winner since the game debuted last fall. In the May 4, 2005 drawing, one ticket matched all six winning numbers, 01-16-24-26-32- 34, to win the game's top prize of $3,000 a month for life.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of Wednesday night's LUCKY FOR LIFE jackpot winner until the prize has been claimed and the ticket validated. The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, contact a financial adviser, and then contact Lottery Headquarters, (717) 986-4720. Winning LUCKY FOR LIFE jackpot tickets must be claimed at Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Annette Kunz of Oberlin (Steelton), Dauphin County, was the game's most recent top-prize winner of $3,000 a month for life. Her husband purchased the lucky ticket for her at Sunup Six Exxon, located at 770 Eisenhower Boulevard, Harrisburg, Dauphin County. LUCKY FOR LIFE tickets first went on sale September 30, 2004.

This has been a good week for Pennsylvania Lottery players. On Monday, a couple from Cranberry Township, Butler County, claimed the outstanding Powerball(R) jackpot from the March 16, 2005 drawing; they opted for the $10.1 million cash value of the jackpot. And on Tuesday night, one ticket matched all six winning numbers in the MATCH 6 lotto drawing to win the cash jackpot worth more than $5.85 million. That prize has not yet been claimed.
