PBR Country Bar to open location at Live! Casino Pittsburgh

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Cordish Companies and Professional Bull Riders today announced the newest location of the wildly popular PBR Country Bar – PBR Pittsburgh – will open at Live! Casino next year as part of a second phase of openings.

PBR Pittsburgh joins the lineup of dining and entertainment experiences including Sports & Social Steel City, a one-of-a-kind sports restaurant and social lounge, featuring a FanDuel sportsbook, and Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen + Bar, from the national award-winning chef and TV personality. The non-stop gaming action also includes 750 slots and approximately 30 live action table games.

Born from the toughest sport on dirt, the iconic PBR Country Bar is a powerhouse concept that brings an authentic country experience to visitors, marrying an electric combination of “cowboy cool” and big-time entertainment. PBR Pittsburgh at Live! Casino will be located on the second floor of the 100,000-square-foot facility and feature the area’s only professionally endorsed mechanical riding bull, private VIP booths and the best in country music.

PBR Pittsburgh at Live! Casino joins nine other successful locations around the country including Baltimore, MD; Hampton, VA; Louisville, KY; St. Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Arlington, TX in the Arlington Entertainment District; Atlanta, GA; Norfolk, VA; and Philadelphia, PA in the heart of the Philadelphia Sports Complex.

Live! Casino will be part of the popular 1.3-million-square-foot Westmoreland Mall development, located in Hempfield Township directly off Route 30. The $150 million gaming and entertainment destination is set to open 24 November in Westmoreland County, approximately 30 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.

To prepare for opening, Live! Casino has developed a comprehensive Play It Safe plan which focuses on masking, temperature checks, social distancing, and repeated cleaning of high-traffic areas, slot machines and table game equipment. Signage will also be located throughout the facility to underscore all safety requirements.
