Papua New Guinea legalizes gambling

PAPAU NEW GUINEA – As reported by Radio Australia: "Papua New Guinea has passed a gaming law to allow casinos and online gambling in a bid to boost the economy.
"The gaming law was passed by parliament and will allow each of the country's 20 provinces to hold a casino license for 10 years.
"It will also allow overseas-based lottery products and internet gambling.
"…Operators will be required to pay 20 percent of gross profits in duties, and another 5 percent in a community benefit gaming levy…"
