Palm Beach Kennel Club presents semi-final action

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The fourth and final round of qualifying for Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity takes place Friday afternoon, 20 December.

Heading into the sweet sixteen, only B & B Racing Kennel’s RF Oka will have the opportunity to enter the championship final undefeated.

In Race 12, there is no doubt that #8 Buyusumnewshoes will be the post time favorite. He drew into the weakest of the two qualifiers and has a great post position. Also keep an eye on the well-positioned early-speedster #1 Pasquales Violet, who missed her break in round three, and the ever-improving #3 Dennis Moment.

Race 14 features the undefeated qualifier RF Oka. She drew into the tougher of the two qualifiers and will face tough competition from the likes of #1 Skiddy Hack, #3 August Dawn and #7 Ruff N Rowdy.

The top eight-point earners following Friday’s semifinals will advance to the $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity Championship, Thursday afternoon, 26 December.

Post positions will be drawn in the Racing Office, Saturday afternoon, 21 December.

The Futurity is named in honor of former PBKC kennel operator, humanitarian and 2004 inductee to the Greyhound Hall of Fame Dick Andrews.
