Pala's May poker schedule promises $30,000 tournament

Pala Poker will continue to stream live 2-3-5 No Limit Hold'em action from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Friday and Saturday on Facebook.
Pala Poker also will offer a 2-3-5 Big Game, starting at 6 p.m. each Friday, 7 p.m. each Saturday and at 6 p.m., on 31 May.
The Poker Room will continue its popular Thursday Deep Stack Turbo and Friday Night 2K tournaments and will introduce a new High Hand of the Half-Hour promotion and a Special High Hand Frenzy for Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29. Pala Poker also will continue its High Hand Frenzy, the Cash Prize Wheel, the Thursday $50 High Hand of the Hour, the Flush Marathon and Chase for the Dough.
The schedule for the four-day, $30,000 Estimated River Card Championship tournament will include:
Day 1A, 6 p.m., Thursday, 11 May
Day 1B, 6 p.m., Friday, 12 May
Day 1C, Noon, Saturday, 13 May
The buy-in will be $130 with $10,000/$5,000 in chips and a $15 optional bonus buy. There also will be a $50 add-on for an additional $15,000 in chips, and 100% of that money will go into the prize pool. Blinds will be 25 minutes for the first four levels. Ten percent of each day's players will advance to Day 2 and receive $100. If a player qualifies twice, they will receive $500 from the prize pool and must surrender their lowest stack.
Day 2 – 1 p.m., Sunday, 14 May
The 2-3-5 Big Game will be played at 6 p.m. each Friday and 7 p.m. each Saturday, and at 6 p.m. on 31 May. After three hours of live play on Saturdays, players may request a free Filet Mignon dinner.
Additional May tournaments will include:
Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $45+$10, with a $1,200 guarantee and a $10 optional staff buy. Chips will be $20,000/$5,000, and there will be $10 bounties. This tournament will not be played 11 May.
Friday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $40+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000 with a $5 optional staff buy and a $20 add-on for $10,000 chips. Late and re-entries will be allowed to four levels with a full stack. This tournament will not be played 12 May.
The new High Hand of the Half Hour will be in play from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday through Saturday, excluding Thursdays, and will award $50 for hold'em and $25 for Omaha. The Special High Hand Frenzy on Memorial Day Weekend will be in play from Noon to 8 p.m. on 27-29 May. It will award $100 every 30 minutes for Texas Hold'em. The High Hand Frenzy promotion will be in play from noon to 8 p.m. each Sunday in May (except 28 May) and will award $100 every half hour. Continuing promotions will be the Cash Prize Wheel, which will be in play every day and will award up to $200 for any quads or higher; the Thursday $50 High Hand, which will award $50 for the high hand of the hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and the Flush Marathon, for Limit and No Limit Hold'em with no rollover, which will be in play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday in May. The Chase for the Dough will be in play from 1 May until midnight, 31 May. Players can earn cash by playing a certain number of hours in all jackpot poker games. Forty hours will receive $60; 60 hours, $200, and 80, $400.
