Pala running poker promotions, tournaments throughout February

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win extra cash at Pala Casino Spa and Resort in February when the poker room will play two Leap Year Mini Deep Stack tournaments at noon on Sunday, Feb. 21 and 28.

The poker room will introduce a Big Game Drawing from noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, and a new Red, White and Green High Hand promotion that will be in play from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Feb. 13-15.

Pala Poker also will continue its popular Thursday Deep Stack Turbo and Friday Night 2K tournaments and ongoing popular promotions that include the High Hand, the No-Limit High Hand, the No-Limit Rolling Hourly High Hand, the Limit Flush Marathon and the Chase for the Dough.

The Leap Year Mini Deep Stacks will have a $20+$10+$5 buy-in and a $2,016 guarantee. Chips will be $10,000/$5,000 and there will be one $20 add-on.

The Big Game Drawing will offer players the opportunity to win one of nine cash drawings of $175 each and one for $1,000. The Red, White and Green High Hand will provide the opportunity to win $199 per hour.

-- Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $1,200 guarantee and a $10 staff buy. Chips will $20,000/$5,000 and there will be $10 bountiesl.
-- Friday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m.; the buy-in will be $35+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee and a $5 optional staff buy. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000. Late and re-entries will be allowed to three levels with a full stack.
